DESCRIPTION

The PT5606 is a high speed high voltage (600V) driverto control power devices like MOS-transistors or IGBTsin half bridge systems with dependent high and lowside referenced output channels. The logic input iscompatible with standard CMOS or LSTTL output,down to 3.3V logic. The device includes anunder-voltage detection unit with hysteresischaracteristic and prevents power devices againstlarge amount of conduction loss, when voltage marginof gate is not high enough. The output drivers feature ahigh pulse current buffer stage designed for minimumdriver cross-conduction. The floating channel can beused to drive an N-channel power MOSFET or IGBT,in the high side configuration which operates up to 600volts.
