DESCRIPTION
The PT2471 is a brushed-DC motor driver for printers,home appliances, industrial equipment, and othersmall machines. Dual pin logic inputs controls the Hbridge driver output current flows to maniple the motorrotation in forward or reverse direction. With sufficientheat dissipation PCB area or add-on heatsinking, thepeak output current may up to 3.6 Amps.
The PT2471 has built-in PWM current regulationcircuits; it&＃39;s a very useful function to limiting averagecurrent draws from power supply during motor rotatesstarts up and stalled. The PWM current regulationlevel is determinates by an external applied VREFreference voltage and current sense resistanceattached in ISEN pin.
The PT2471 is protected from many fault conditions,including under voltage (UVLO), across-load shortcircuits (SCP) and over temperature shut down (TSD).The drive will disable the H-bridge output during faultcondition is met, and device will automaticallyrecovery when fault phenomena is removed.
